Dr Leandri Hattingh is a medical doctor with more than a decade of experience working at the intersections of public health policy, strategy, funding, management and research.

In addition to a general medical degree (MBChB, equivalent to MD), Leandri holds Master’s degrees in Applied Ethics and Public Mental Health. Her skill set includes public health intervention research, design, implementation and monitoring, health advocacy, writing for varied audiences, and public speaking.

She brings an open-minded, collaborative, and critical thinking approach to the complexity of health and health care challenges. She believes that an interdisciplinary approach is indispensable, given the global determinants and consequences of health.
